Cookie Notice
Effective date: 2026-05-21 Last updated: 2026-05-20
This Cookie Notice explains how Clearty Technologies, LLC ("ARQ") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://arqstats.com. It supplements the Privacy Policy.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website saves on your browser. Cookies let a site recognize you across requests so you stay logged in, your preferences stick, and the site can measure how it's used. Similar technologies — including localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags — work the same way for our purposes.
What cookies ARQ sets
| Cookie / storage | Purpose | Set by | Category | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token |
Keeps you signed in (Supabase Auth session). | Supabase | Strictly necessary | Session + refresh |
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifier |
OAuth PKCE flow verifier. | Supabase | Strictly necessary | Minutes |
arq.theme |
Remembers your selected color theme (light / dark). | ARQ | Functional | 1 year |
arq.recent-leagues (localStorage) |
Lets you jump back to leagues you've recently viewed. | ARQ | Functional | Until cleared |
arq.help-pinned (localStorage) |
Remembers whether the in-app Help sidebar is pinned. | ARQ | Functional | Until cleared |
arq.pwa-nudge (localStorage) |
Suppresses the "Install ARQ" nudge after dismissal. | ARQ | Functional | Until cleared |
We do not currently set advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. If we add any, this notice will be updated before they are enabled and (where required) we will obtain consent first.
Strictly necessary vs. functional
- Strictly necessary — required for the Service to work (authentication, security). You cannot disable these without breaking sign-in.
- Functional — improve the experience but are not required (theme, recent-league shortcuts). Disabling them just resets those preferences to defaults.
How to control cookies
You can control cookies in three places:
- Your browser settings — every modern browser lets you block cookies, delete cookies, or clear local storage. Doing this for the strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out.
- Sign out — clears your authentication cookies for this device.
- OS-level "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control — ARQ honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal for California residents as an opt-out of sale or sharing, even though we do not sell or share personal information as defined under California law.
If you are in California, see Your Privacy Choices for the full set of CCPA/CPRA controls.
Changes
We will update this Notice when we change the cookies we use. Material changes are dated at the top.
