Managing commissioners
Invite someone to help manage your league, understand what they can do, and remove them when needed.
Every league has one owner plus any number of additional commissioners. They share most of the same admin access. Use this page to invite trusted helpers — a team captain who also handles scheduling, a co-organizer, or anyone else you want to give league management access.
Inviting a commissioner
- Go to League hub → Commissioners.
- Enter the person's email address and tap Send invite.
- They'll receive an email with a link that grants them access when clicked.
Invites expire after 7 days. If they don't accept in time, send a new invite from the same page. Pending invites show in the list until accepted or expired.
What commissioners can do
Commissioners have access to everything on the league hub:
- Manage seasons, teams, players, rosters, and the schedule
- Manage venues, time slots, and blackout dates
- Add or update sponsors
- View and invite other commissioners (if the owner has granted invite permission in Settings)
What only the owner can do
- Change the league name, location, or sport type
- Delete the league
- Remove other commissioners (commissioners can only remove themselves)
- Transfer ownership
Removing a commissioner
Only the owner can remove another commissioner. Tap the remove button next to their name, then confirm.
Commissioners can remove themselves. If you were invited to commission a league and want to leave, go to Commissioners and tap the remove button on your own row. You'll be signed out of that league's admin area immediately.
If an invite email never arrived
Check the spam folder first. If it's not there, the invite may have expired — return to Commissioners and send a fresh one.
