Tracking a game live

How to log events during a game using the courtside tracker.

The tracker is built for one-tap logging. You should be able to keep up with the game without looking down longer than a glance.

Before tipoff

  1. Open the game from your league's schedule. The tracker opens to the pre-game view.
  2. Confirm both rosters are correct. If a player is missing, add them now — adding mid-game is supported but slower.
  3. Tap Tip off to start the game clock.

During the game

The quick-action buttons across the bottom are the only thing you need. Each button logs one event:

  • 2pt / 3pt / FT — tap the player who scored, then the button
  • Foul / Turnover / Steal — same flow: player first, then action
  • Rebound — defensive vs offensive is inferred from the previous event

If you tap the wrong player, hit Undo in the top bar — it voids the most recent event without removing it from the log.

End of game

Tap End game when the buzzer sounds. ARQ auto-generates a summary and writes the final result to the league standings.

When to use AI corrections

The quick-action buttons cover roughly 95% of game events. For anything unusual — a technical foul on a coach, a clock review, an event you logged on the wrong team — use Ask ARQ and describe what happened in plain English. The AI logs a void event for the original and replays the correct one.
